News Analysis ( Fake & Real News )

Today I am going to write in my blog about how to analyze a real and fake news.

Fake News

What is Fake News..

Fake news refers to false or misleading information which masquerades as legitimate news. Generally, fake news falls into two categories:

01.People publish deliberately inaccurate stories, knowing they are false, to manipulate public opinion or drive website traffic.

02.Stories with truthful elements but broad inaccuracy may be due to the writer's lack of factual verification or exaggeration to make a specific point.

Misinformation, a term coined in the 19th century, has evolved significantly with the advent of the internet and social media. While traditional media sources have strict regulations, the internet has allowed for more freedom in sharing and consuming news.

Types of fake news

Clickbait

Sensationalism and clickbait are online strategies used to drive clicks and shares, often at the expense of truth and accuracy.

Propaganda

False or distorted stories are used to deceive audiences and advance a political agenda or biased viewpoint.

Poor quality journalism

Journalists often make mistakes in their stories, leading to fake news. Trusted sources correct these errors and maintain transparency with readers.

Misleading headlines

Fake news can be spread through sensationalist headlines, as only the headline and small snippets of an article are displayed on social media.

Imposter content

This is when genuine news sources are impersonated with false, made-up stories to deceive or mislead audiences.

Satire or parody

Fake news, such as satirical stories, are published for entertainment value, using humor, irony, or exaggeration to mock news or famous figures, like The Onion and The Daily Mash.

High-profile politicians often label factual, verified stories as "fake news," but the British Government banned the term in 2018, preferring "misinformation" and "disinformation" to describe false stories.

Fake news examples

01. The Covid-19 pandemic led to widespread fake news, including the false claim that 5G technology was linked to virus spread, despite being debunked by official sources and being widely shared on social media.

02.China Muslims hidden at Bihari mosque has been taken to corona virus test by Bihari police. Erode police has caught Thailand Muslim mullahs infected with corona virus. Today Salem Police has caught 11 Indonesian Muslim mullahs at Salem mosque. This video shows that they are applying and putting saliva on spoons plates and utensils and also they are in the intention of spreading corona virus disease. Nobody knows > what's happening in the Nation
